    Cliff was good …
Cliff was good enough to answer an email, the guitar was a custom creation to replace his ES335 with a solid body of the same size.
Great guy, go see his band if you are in the area.

Hmm, it seems to be …
Hmm, it seems to be some rare doublecut les paul body (definately not a fender body) and a fender strat neck on it.. sounds good indeed :)

    Nice version, these …
Nice version, these a guys are good musucians, sounds like a casino band (that is a compliment) But I saw the “Mad dogs and Englishmans tour” in 71 and that was real gut wrenching high energy music. Love them both!

That backing band is from Worcester, MA , used to be called The American Standard Band. Now some of those guys are the Mohegan Sun All-Stars at the casino in CT. They play on a big NE TV show called Community Auditions.

    True rock …
True rock historians refer to Cocker as “The Voice”. Anybody who has ever gone to his live show, whether now, or 25 years ago, it is a non stop, high song energy rock ride. Not a show you will nod off to. Manerisms, ex-addictions, say whatever, try to find an artist with more feeling and soul.

    I must say I like …
I must say I like this version but the Box Tops version is better

    Joe has the most …
Joe has the most unusual voice and manerisms, as in singing on his toes at Woodstock.. and shaking like he’s mentally ill. Then you hear that screaming on key with heart and soul. Amazing and powerful talent from his generation to ours.

Is that all you are …
Is that all you are able to? All that you see and hear results the question if Cocker was a good or bad cover singer?

Crawl back into your holes & beg your mummies for mercy! Collect stamps, thats what suits you dummies. Don´t listen to music, you won´t ever get what its all about.
